A known cancer charity are looking for a Stewardship and Supporter journey Manager to join their team. With a background in fundraising this role is for someone who has done the fundraising cycles, had input in the supporter journey and now wants a new area of focus. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the relationships with fundraisers to keep their support for the charity

Duties and responsibilities

- working to refine and enhance the mass participation supporter journeys to increase income and interest
- Focus on communications including as welcome, thanking communications and engagement to develop and grow the retention of lifetime of existing supporters
- Manage an In-Memory fundraising programme focussed on improving the identification, recognition and conversion of supporters driven by our most significant supporter motivation
- Manage a case for support programme, working with the Communications team to find out what motivates supporters and those people who support the cause through fundraising
- Manage a Fundraising Assistant who deals with telephone calls with mass participation fundraisers

Skills and experience

- Experience dealing with or in a stewardship or Mass Participation/Events/Campaigns role with an understanding of supporter communications and journeys
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills able to manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience of analysing campaign/event/product results and developing marketing programmes and improvements
- Works well to deadlines, under pressure/to deadlines within a team and independently
- Demonstrable operational and day-to-day management skills across large and complex fundraising campaigns with proven success, results and outcomes
- Experience of working across multiple fundraising teams to deliver a complex multi-channel products/donor journeys
