Are you an experienced Administrator keen to work for a human rights organisation?
Please be advised we are looking for someone immediately available , for a period of four months.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide overall administrative support to a number of programme lawyers within the organisation ensuring all delegates and layers have relevant material for their trips. Day to day duties will include organising travel, flights and accommodation as well as handling visa enquiries. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with practical arrangements for training, workshops and venue hire, as well as acting as a point of contact via telephone and e-mail. Other day to day duties will consist of setting up conference calls, maintaining project spreadsheets, as well as supporting with drafting budgets for grants related projects. In addition you will occasionally be required to take minutes at meetings.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to have strong administration experience with experience of juggling a busy and varied work-load. You will have an excellent eye for detail, with strong knowledge of Excel and Word. The placed candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with some experience of arranging travel and accommodation, and the ability to work well under pressure. This role is ideally suited to someone with an interest in human rights.
