Programme Development Specialist
Prospectus is excited to be partnering with an international development organisation to support their search for a new Programme Development Specialist. This role will involve supporting the organisation's Country Offices by helping them to design high quality programmes and by raising the funds from institutional donors needed to implement them.
As Programme Development Specialist, you will identify and proactively generate opportunities from new and existing institutional donors, and lead on the development of high-quality grant and commercial tender submissions. Responsibilities will also include supporting project initiation and handover to implementation teams once funding is secured.
The geographical area of focus for this role will be West Africa and Asia, but there will be the need for flexibility to work with other areas as requested, particularly when there are surges of work within certain countries.

Experience of living and working in developing countries would be advantageous.
The organisation are looking for candidates with strong programme development experience but are also interested in applications from candidates with a strong technical background in one of their priority themes: economic security; education; resilience; sexual and reproductive health and WASH.
