Support Worker (Nights)

Our client is an organisation that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people. Their aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. 

They are currently going through a large period of growth and have three vacancies for Night Worker. 

Position: Night Worker x 3 
Location: Warwickshire Services (1 x Nuneaton, 2 x Leamington Spa) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours average over 2 weeks (3 x 10 hour shifts vs 4 x 10 hour shifts the following week) Hours 10pm to8:30am 
Salary: £13,099 to £19,041 pro rata per annum dependant on experience

About the role: 

As a Night Worker you will supervise clients conduct, health, hygiene, safety and welfare, while maintaining a flexible and sensitive approach to clients as individuals during the night-time in each service by using resources available. 

You will effectively manage an assigned caseload when allocated by management which is contingent on needs, strengths, abilities and preferences of the client served. 

You will provide assessment, monitoring, planning, linkage and advocacy for clients involved in the service when required along with Ensuring that all clients are given the security and support to maximise their independence, dignity and choice in accordance with the aims of the service. 

About you: 

You will have previous experience of working with the homeless and / or vulnerable client groups within a supporting housing setting. You will also have previous experience of using risk management tools in the effective management of supported housing schemes along with experience of general administration duties. 

You will have a proven track record of dealing with challenging behaviour/ emergency situations along with the ability to liaise with outside agencies and relevant emergency agencies 

Above all if you are hardworking, creative, innovative, able to think outside the box, work well on your own as well as part of a team which delivers positive outcomes and have a real passion for working with our client group then they would love to hear from you. Knowledge of Community and volunteer resources and Housing association legislation is desirable. 

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.
