Interim Marketing and Communications Officer
Our client is a University based in Middlesex. They are easily accessible via the undergound as well as by car with plenty of parking on campus.
The Senior Marketing & Comms Officer is an initial three month role and will be responsible for creating, planning and managing the content and messaging strategy for undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment campaigns and publications for the Home & EU markets.
The Senior Officer will be an exceptional creative writer and content manager with a passion for brand storytelling with the ability to gather relevant information from academic sources and produce high quality engaging content for on and offline publications. Responsible for writing and delivering copy across all channels with a key focus on adapting content to the appropriate audience in line with brand guidelines. The post holder will work closely with the College Marketing Teams, MarComms, media, multi-channel, digital, campaigns, CRM.
- Degree in communications, marketing or public relations or a Postgraduate marketing qualification.
- Candidates without a first degree should be able to demonstrate transferable skills - such as analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and self-management skills - at an appropriate level.
Knowledge and experience of writing compelling clear, concise and effective copy.
Knowledge of the design, publication production processes and stages, print process and printing techniques.
Demonstrable understanding of the principles of branding and importance of on-brand messaging.
Proven knowledge of current marketing, digital trends and emerging technologies and social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Periscope.
£14Understanding of the importance of creating audience specific communications that demonstrate creative flair.
£145 - 191/day depending on PAYE or Umbrella company
