Senior Domiciliary Care Manager
Our client is a charity set in a 68-acre parkland campus near Much Hadham, Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire, providing registered residential supported living and respite care services, with nursing support for vulnerable people of all ages.
Their Domiciliary Care service offers care and support within supported living accommodation for College Learners, ages between 18 – 25 who live on their campus near Much Hadham and who are on a three-year Independence Programme. They also provide a supported living service for adults from the age of 18 years in their flats in Bishops Stortford. All their adults and learners have learning disabilities and other complex health needs. Through their dedicated team they provide excellent care and support on a 24 hour / 52-week basis.
Position: Senior Domiciliary Care Manager
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham & Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, normal working times are 09:00 –to17:00 Monday to Friday with working one weekend in four. However, there will be times when you may be required to work a shift pattern (07:00 to 14:30 or 14:00 to 21:30)

About the role:
You will be reporting directly to the Registered Care Manager and working alongside two Domiciliary Care Managers, ensuring a high standard of care practice whilst contributing to the development and implementation of the College / Domiciliary care development plan and quality assurance framework.
You will be an experienced Manager, leading on the day to day management of both on and off-site provision of services, whilst managing and developing a dedicated team of staff who assist students and residents in all aspects of their daily living skills. Your role will include working collaboratively with both Domiciliary Care and College Academic teams.
About you:
- Experience of working with people with learning difficulties in a care setting
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
- Agreement to undertake level 5 QCF Diploma in Leadership for H&S Care
- A proven track record within a registered residential setting
- Relevant experience of developing and implementing focused care plans
- A proven track record in leading, motivation and supporting a dedicated care staff team
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, CQC registration requirements with commitment and drive to make a positive difference
