Sales and Marketing Director - London - Permanent - Not-for-profit

Our client has recently developed and implemented a new sales infrastructure. Part of this change programme has also been to integrate sales with marketing, to ensure seamless and successful execution across all commercial functions.

They are now looking for a, sales and marketing professional, to ensure the new ways of working are sustained.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience across the full sales and marketing mix, and be able to make an impact from day one. This is a senior, 'hands-on' role leading business growth. You will be equipped with knowledge and experience of working in a best practice way that incorporates digital methods and social selling. You will also be adept at producing management information and analytics to demonstrate your success in the role. Key tasks include:

  • Participate as a key member of the Leadership team

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans, and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives

  • Manage sales and marketing budgets

  • Lead and develop the marketing and sales function through the appointment and professional development of key direct reports

  • Drive success through developing and delivering an effective marketing strategy that drives increased customer traffic and marketing ROI, and is aligned with business objectives

  • Develop, oversee and manage the digital marketing strategy, taking ownership of the website, PR and social media, including content creation

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and agencies

  • Develop and manage our brand image and awareness to maximise sales in all markets

  • Continually analyse competitors, market trends and opportunities within new vertical markets

  • Senior level selling, and coaching of teams with a sales remit

  • Production of MI and analytics


  • Significant experience and successful track record in sales and marketing leadership, leading significant business growth, developing new markets and product launches

  • Ability to quickly impact the business and add value

  • Excellent experience in multiple marketing channels

  • Able to build sustainable and productive relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders

  • Experience of professional services environment desirable

  • A creative mind-set and forward-thinking individual who can bring fresh ideas to the business

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent team player

  • Hands-on attitude with demonstrable drive and self-motivation

  • Must be highly proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint, with an eye for best practice formatting and design

Job Offer
