Advocacy Key Worker / Caseworker (Young People)

Our client offers a diverse range of services for homeless young people, families in need and the local community on one site in south Westminster.

Their 32 bed Hostel offers 16 - 25-year olds a safe place to stay for up to a year whilst developing the skills that will enable them to go on and build an independent life. Additionally, they have five flats where young people are supported before getting their own independent housing.

Many of their residents have complex needs and the Centre offers a range of on-site services as well as working closely with a range of other agencies to provide specialist support that will enables clients to address the obstacles that they are facing and empower them to achieve more.

Salary: £28,680.53 per annum

About the role:

The Centre’s Residential Services are geared towards supporting homeless young people to move on positively in their lives by providing a high-quality support package which helps them to achieve their goals.

You will be the named key worker for a low ratio of residents providing support, advice and advocacy to help them gain the best possible outcomes. You will take the lead in ensuring young people engage in positive activities to empower young people to develop independent livings skills.

About you:

To be effective in these posts you will have a proven record of delivering successful outcomes for young people sometimes with complex needs. You will be versatile in your approach, dynamic, self-motivated and committed to supporting young people to empower themselves.
