Position: Children’s Residential & Classroom Support Worker
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 5 days out of 7 days to include a mixture of early shifts and late shifts (07:00 to 14:30 and 14:15 to 21:45 with 20 minutes paid break) and 2 in 4 weekends.
Salary: £17,859 to £20,219 per annum

About the role:
They are expanding their teams and therefore looking for enthusiastic, caring and compassionate candidates to join the dedicated team of Children’s Residential Home & Classroom Support Workers, to work and support children who have epilepsy and other complex needs. Experience and qualifications are not essential, as they offer training and full development support, through our Trainee RLSA positions.
About you:
Supporting the children and young people using their service to develop into independent, happy, young adults. Assisting them with their day to day routine Helping them learn in class and after school to take part in activities and hobbies Getting them ready for bed. Assisting them with personal care.

Level 3 qualifications in Residential Childcare (or equiv.) or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, is advantageous but not essential.
Although not on a public transport route, our client offers subsidised transport from a range of pick-up points in Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishops Stortford and Thorley. On site accommodation is also available for staff whose home is 50 miles+ from the Centre for up to 24 months.
You may have experience of the following: Support Worker, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Social Care, Voluntary Sector, Healthcare Assistant, Care Staff, Not for Profit, NFP, Administrator, Administration, Admin Assistant, Office Assistant, Office Administrator etc.
