Description

To develop and lead on delivery of communications plans that support delivery of the University's estates strategy including their big capital project, infrastructure projects and wayfinding and signage across the campuses.

Key responsibilities include:

• To develop and maintain an integrated internal communications plan covering all aspects of estates infrastructure improvement works throughout the calendar year, setting out all key deliverables and timescales.
• To project manage the University's wayfinding and signage strategy to ensure that buildings and routes are clearly identifiable and our campuses reflect positively on our university brand. This includes managing tender processes and briefing internal/ external designers and colleagues in Estates and Facilities Management.
• To act as a key liaison point with Estates and Facilities Management project leads to ensure that key deliverables in communications plans are being appropriately prioritised and monitored from planning through to delivery.
• To develop content for web pages, newsletters and other appropriate channels and commission supporting imagery and footage.

Profile

You will have experience of writing enticing copy and running communication campaigns for staff audiences across multiple channels. Digital marketing techniques and tools (from email marketing to using content management systems) will already be a familiar concept. You will also have a good eye for visual artwork and be familiar with briefing graphic designers.
