Senior Marketing Officer
Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for helping the vulnerable?
Our client, a nationally recognised homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Marketing Officer to join their Marketing and Communications Team.
Reporting to the Marketing and Brand Manager, you will plan and deliver marketing campaigns, activities and content for wide ranging audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: acting as a primary marketing point of contact for specific services and teams, working with different teams to ensure that local and regional communications activity is coordinated with service delivery and coordinating promotional materials for national services. You will also produce physical and digital marketing materials and brief in-house designers to ensure that any commissioned work is in line with brand guidelines. Finally, you will have the opportunity to gather stories from people who have lived experience of homelessness with the aim of feeding this into marketing materials.
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience of planning and delivering marketing campaigns and materials, including print, film, photography and digital content. A strong communicator, you will have excellent copywriting skills alongside experience of editing and proofreading materials. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role, as is a proven track record of working with market research to improve communications. You will possess a solid understanding of branding principles and experience of project management. Finally, you will have excellent analytical skills, coupled with negotiation skills.
