Job Details

Do you want to work for a small, innovative and creative organisation where no day will be the same and you will have a finger in (almost) every pie?

Do you enjoy solving people's technical problems?

Job Title: IT Infrastructure and Support Manager
Reports to: Head of Technical Programmes and Support
Salary: c.£45,000 depending on experience
Location: Kings Cross, London

Do you have significant experience in

  • hybrid cloud environments,
  • building up and managing a technical support team,
  • cyber security?

Situated at the heart of the new Granary Square development in King's Cross, Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. We believe that art can make you see, think and feel differently, and through our work we help make art more accessible to as many visitors as possible, wherever they are.

We give grants to help museums and galleries acquire works of art for their collections, share them with wide audiences, and support the training and professional development of curators. We are supported by our growing membership of 139,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many trusts, foundations and other individuals.

We’re looking for someone to join our team who has the skills and personality to manage technical infrastructure and support in a largely non-technical organisation, someone who thrives on solving technical problems and putting in place processes and procedures that increase efficiency without strangling innovation. Someone with rigour and significant technical experience and skills who loves working with people.

If this sounds like you, please download the full job description for more information.

Closing date for applications is midnight on 28h September 2018
Interviews dates to be confirmed.
Applications will be considered immediately upon receipt.
We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date.

If you would like to apply for this position, please make sure you read the Job Description (attached) fully before attaching your CV and covering letter explaining why you think you would be right for this role, which will be sent automatically to us.

We care deeply about equal opportunities, and welcome a broad diversity of talent from all sections of the community to apply.

No agencies please.

Company

The Art Fund is the UK's national fundraising charity for art, helping museums and galleries buy, show and share great works of art and campaigning on behalf of museums and their visitors. We receive no government funding, but instead raise our money by mobilising the passions and resources of art lovers across the UK. Last April we announced our commitment to do more – increasing the amount we give away by 50% by 2014. At the same time we launched the National Art Pass, which has since brought a 15% increase in our membership to over 90,000 people
