To continue our commitment to this we are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Head of Compliance to join our Finance and IT Group.

This role is responsible for further developing an effective compliance framework across Tearfund, and to ensure compliance incidents are managed appropriately and lessons learned and acted on.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of leading compliance, risk management or assurance functions
• Experience of working with senior leadership teams and boards of directors and / or trustees
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to work to a high standard, with knowledge of best practice and with an eye for detail
• A high level of understanding of risk management and regulation

Please note this role involves overseas travel of up to 4 weeks per year.
