DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
The College wishes to make an appointment to the vacant position of Director of Development. The principal duties are to lead and manage the work of the Old Members’ (or Alumni) Office and its staff, and in particular to take responsibility for further development of the College’s fund-raising activity. There is now a healthy annual giving programme and a growing and highly successful legacy effort, plus continuing work with major donors. The College has been pleased by the success and efficiency of the office and would like to build on this performance in the future.
Candidates are expected to be university graduates, preferably with some understanding of a collegiate university and with significant experience in fund-raising, ideally in the higher education sector.
The salary will be in the region of £65,000 per annum. The package of benefits includes membership of a contributory pension scheme.
