Full time: 35 hours per week
Based in Knowsley with extensive field work

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing and friendly fundraising team and bring your considerable knowledge and expertise to an organisation willing to invest in its income generation team.

The Job:

The Head of Community, Corporate & Events, will lead the development, implementation & delivery of the commercial strategy in relation to income generation from Community, Corporate partnership and Events and ensure the agreed strategy is implemented effectively. The post holder will develop and diversify the fundraising portfolio in these areas by testing and opening up new fundraising streams and use technology to maximise income.

The role will report to the Director of Income Generation & Engagement and will lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for delivering a strategy that drives significant income growth from existing and new supporters, as well as developing successful partnerships offers to regional corporates.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have demonstrable experience of community fundraising and how it can work across other revenue streams, together with the understanding of corporate partnership fundraising. A strong manager, with experience of leading a dispersed team, enabling teams to reach targets and aspire to do more for our client's cause.

You will develop and deliver creative partnerships, products and events whilst ensuring excellent stewardship. Have experience of income and expenditure budget management and successfully implementing new ideas to maximise potential, with integrated and joined up working across all areas of income generation.
