We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and live well.
The role
In this key role, you will maximise net income and grow support from charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory funders to enable us to deliver our vision of making breast cancer a survivable disease by 2050. We have a good track record in these areas, with our Trust fundraising team of four raising over £2m per annum. With the full support of our Board of Trustees, Chief Executive and senior leaders, we have an exciting Trust Strategy which includes a wide range of fundraising projects which we are confident will develop and grow the Trust programme further. In addition to this, the Research Communications team provides information on projects to be funded, and we have regular project visits to the pioneering scientists we fund.
About you
You will be an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic Trust Fundraiser with commitment to, and expert knowledge of, best practice in Trust fundraising, having worked at a senior level. With your demonstrable experience in line management, you will set the Trust Strategy by managing a team of three direct reports as well as building internal and external relationships to enable income growth.
We offer flexible working options and would be happy to discuss and consider flexible working arrangements.
