Are you an experienced Trust and Grant Fundraiser who would like to take on a new challenge?
The Jon Egging Trust are seeking an exceptional individual to increase income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will develop relationships with a broad range of donors and secure new sources of funding for JET’s core work and targeted projects. Your experience of developing compelling fundraising proposals which meet the individual funder’s needs, excellent organisational and planning skills, and commitment to building relationships at all levels will enable you to effectively contribute to JET’s long term sustainability.
You will be joining a small but committed team of home workers who are all passionate about improving the lives of young people through the Jon Egging Trust’s youth programmes.
The Jon Egging Trust was founded in 2012 in memory of Red Arrows pilot Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging to realise his dream of inspiring young people to achieve a brighter future. Jon tragically lost his life on 20th of August 2011 whilst completing a Red Arrows display at the Bournemouth Air Festival.
In conjunction with our partners from the worlds of aviation and STEM, we offer two youth engagement initiatives: Blue Skies and Inspirational Outreach.
Blue Skies (BS) is an intensive, targeted, early intervention programme offered through two delivery routes: Blue Skies Three-year syllabus and Blue Skies Inspire Packages. 487 young people graduated on BS programmes in the academic year 2017/18.
Inspirational Outreach (IO) provides bespoke impact days or a short series of sessions according to the needs identified by schools. 9658 young people participated in IO sessions in the academic year 2017/18.
The Trust currently operates in eight regions: Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, West Midlands and North Wales.
