Our client is seeking an ambitious and talented major gift fundraiser to join its forward-looking and committed Development Department as it expands in order to support the organisation’s vision for its future.

Our client is an internationally renowned institution, with a motto to ‘do different’. It is one of the UK’s top 15 universities and is located in parkland just two miles from the city of Norwich.

The role of Senior Development Manager presents an opportunity for a major gifts fundraiser to be part of an internationally recognised and distinctively modern institution.

Building relationships with existing and potential donors, working with colleagues across the University and with direct line management responsibility, the successful candidate will bring a confident and collaborative approach to their work. In turn, our client offers an inspiring working environment based on a renowned 1960’s campus.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in relationship management, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for Higher Education, and a high level of motivation for meeting alumni, trustees, corporates, and friends to engage their support.

The role is based in Norwich, Norfolk, with frequent days in London (individual working arrangements may be agreed with the Director of Development) and some international travel.
