Job Overview

The person in this position will actively promote CTC and develop new opportunities for both the minibus and community car service.  In addition, they will also actively recruit volunteers to assist with the running of the organisation. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To actively promote CTC through off and on line marketing.
  • To develop ongoing business relationships with other organisations across Calderdale & Kirklees.
  • To actively recruit volunteers to assist with the running of the organisation and ensure all details are processed through the relevant channels e.g. DBS checks, references etc.
  • Maintain client to volunteer ratio for the Community Car Service.
  • To maintain CTC website and social media feeds.
  • To promote CTC at relevant networking opportunities and events.
  • To make records for monitoring or evaluation for management, funders, commissioners etc.
  • To report progress to line manager or trustees as required.
  • To comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • To comply with all CTC policies, procedures and best practice.
  • To carry out any other clerical and administrative duties associated with the running of CTC.
  • To perform any other reasonable duties requested by line manager or trustee.
  • To be flexible in working hours, to allow time to prepare for and attend out of office hours events in the evening and weekend where necessary.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Marketing qualification desirable but not essential.
  • At least two years marketing experience, preferably within the third sector.
  • Able to give presentations/talks to groups.
  • Strong social media and website skills.
  • Able to produce in-house marketing materials.
