Head of Supporter Development 

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Today, 12 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Our client is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. They fight tirelessly for children and young people with cancer, often when they feel they can’t. They do this individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things, like getting well. 

Position: Head of Supporter Development 
Location: Flexible, Bristol / London or Home Based considered 
Job type: Full Time, 12 Months Temporary Contract 
Hours: 35 hours per week (part time considered) 
Salary: London £44,800 per annum, Outside of London £42,330 per annum

About the role: 

As Head of Supporter Development, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of growth programmes through your multi-disciplinary team, in order to maximise long-term supporter engagement, growth, and life-time value. Working in partnership with teams across the charity you will help them to build programmes to drive corporate partnerships, local fundraising groups and volunteering, events and regional legacy marketing. 

About you: 

They are looking for a talented individual with strong and confident leadership and management skills and a proven ability to inspire and drive change through your team. You will be an experienced programme manager, with extensive experience of driving community and event fundraising growth programmes and applying audience insight to develop programmes and approaches. You’ll be adept at working effectively across a range of fundraising disciplines and building strong relationships. Above all you will be passionate about relationship fundraising, insight and supporter focus.
