Job Details

A Christian charity based in Central London are looking for a Supporter Relations Officer to support the Fundraising and Supporter Relations department.

As part of the role you will be required to provide excellent donor care to individuals and churches, co-ordinating speakers at church services, updating church representative's records and providing general administrative support to the team as well as organising events.

Please note this role is a 6-7 month FTC.

Main responsibilities:

  • Donor Care
  • Gift processing - checking data, thanking, correspondence
  • Campaign response handling
  • Responding to supporter enquiries
  • Data entry
  • Maintenance of database records
  • Updating Spreadsheets for and dispatching Christmas cards
  • General office duties


Churches:

  • Being the first point of contact of the church engagement team providing excellence care for church contracts and all other stakeholders (including missionaries and other functions)
  • Plan and arrange missionary visits to churches and organise area meetings
  • Ensure all church enquiries receive appropriate responses by phone email or in writing
  • Keep accurate records of income and expenses and reporting of each visit
  • Updating church representatives' records - telephone calls, correspondence, data entry
  • Campaign response handling
  • Updating and printing fliers for speaking engagements
  • Researching (online) and identifying new churches for speaking engagements
  • Gift acknowledgments


Essential:

  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work on initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience of using CRM/donor database
  • Attention to detail
  • A practical, evangelical Christian
