Our client delivers world-leading research to understand, predict, detect and respond to viral disease outbreaks.
Description
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with funding agencies.
- Provide reports and advice to Senior Staff.
- Manage internal grant review processes.
- Liaising with the finance team to provide advice on the costings of proposals.
- Advise and support researchers on the preparation of funding bids.
- Manage the Grants Officer.
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Science degree or equivalent branch of bio-sciences.
- Experience working with donors, governments and/ or funding agencies.
- Experience of grants management databases.
- Proven track record in developing and successfully implementing funding proposals and funding strategies to secure resources.
