Job Details

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a rounded Communications Manager who is keen to join a small yet impactful charity who work to protect children.

They are looking to hire a dynamic and talented individual to lead their media and communications activities and drive forward their communications strategy, across digital, press and communications. This is an exciting time to join the charity, who are expanding their services.

The successful candidate will be ready to hit the ground running, and in return you will be joining an organisation who already punch above their weight in the media. You will be keen to take ownership of this role and deliver high-quality communications activities.


In order to apply for this role, you will have the following experience:

Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
At least five years relevant communications experience
Significant experience of working with national, regional and local media outlets
Proven success in both proactive and reactive media handling
Demonstrable experience in social media and digital marketing including analysing large amounts of data and making decisions which bring about positive change
Proficient in writing, editing, commissioning and publishing accurate and appropriate copy for online and printed communications to a variety of audiences
Presence and confidence to work with senior management and influence internally particular courses of action in the best interests of the organisation
Experience of organising, speaking at and managing events, conferences or workshops
Experience of working with sensitive or complex and confidential issues
Ability & willingness to travel throughout the UK

The role is based in Epsom, Surrey (30 minutes from London Waterloo)
37.5 hours per week
£32,000 - £35,000 per annum
30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
