The successful Pharmaceutical Communications Manager will join an established team committed to health, awareness and making a difference. Part of a large and leading organisation; you will join a team in growth.

Description

The purpose of this role is to support the Tech & Digital Communications director delivering global communications initiatives and incident response preparedness covering the CISO's remit.

The role works closely with the wider Tech & Digital communications team to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated and integrated.

Key responsibilities:

  • Communications lead for CISO, providing strategic advice and taking lead on key communication with an emphasis on global activities and proactive development of incident response communications

  • Partner with CISO and business programme leads to gain deep knowledge and understanding of internal requirements, as well as the external cyber security landscape that impacts our company

  • Develop communications strategies and plans, with target metrics, to support delivery of identified campaigns and activities

  • Work closely with culture and change leads to ensure integrated approach is taken

  • Work with, and manage third party agencies to ensure activities are delivered on time and on budget while also ensuring maximum value is delivered

  • Ensure robust communications are in place for the swift and efficient communication response to any significant cyber security breaches to the organisation. This includes close alignment with external communications

  • In partnership with team, ensure communications calendar reflects communications activities

Profile

  • Experience delivering Tech and cyber security communications

  • Experience of crisis communications planning and execution

  • Tenacity, resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Strong judgement and integrity

  • Gravitas, influencing skills and ability to build strong rapport with leaders at the most senior level

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively and proactively use internal social and digital channels

  • Confident stakeholder engagement and management

Ability to work in effectively in a highly matrixed and global organisation
