We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Area Fundraising Manager to cover Scotland. You'll maximise income and awareness for the BHF in Scotland by developing and implementing a country plan to deliver against our ambitions.

You will lead, manage and offer hands-on fundraising support to a dedicated team of Fundraising Managers to deliver both councils (patch) and country (area) targets. You'll lead your team to proactively build and develop fundraising groups; recruiting individual volunteers and supporters, securing transformative fundraising partnerships, nurturing high worth opportunities and delivering national campaigns, local projects and maximising community engagement.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute and influence our UK-wide approach, helping us to shape our future.

About you

With a demonstrable track record of success in managing field fundraising, sales or marketing, you'll have excellent people management skills and experience of motivating teams to deliver targets. Experience of volunteer management, and/or working with volunteers is highly desirable.

You must live within Scotland and have good knowledge of the fabulous people and opportunities that exist across this country. If you intend to relocate, please make this clear in your submission.

You will also need a full UK driving licence plus previous experience of working remotely and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate yourself.
