Project Manager (Water Quality/Nutrient Management) 
Fixed Term Contract until December 2019 
Salary circa £33,400 per annum 
Based in HQ, Builth Wells 

Are you passionate about farming and its contribution to the wider environment and want to make a difference? 

Leading a partnership of organisations, our client has secured funding to improve the quality of water and undertake nutrient management activities on farms across Wales. 

The voluntary farmer-led approach is highly innovative and experimental and has the potential to drive improvements to water quality in Wales. As the project lead to this new and exciting work stream, you will secure the support and confidence of key partners and stakeholders; and be overall responsible for developing and implementing a new voluntary approach to improve water quality and nutrient management. 

About the role 

With the support of the project steering group, you will evaluate existing water quality schemes. You will maximise the profile of the project and impact through events, publications, and press and media activity to secure industry, supply chain and wider stakeholder buy-in. 

The role requires you to have effective liaison with the partner organisations to ensure progress against the objectives and demonstrate real progress of improving water quality. 

They are looking for a motivated self-starter with proven experience of managing high profile projects and the ability to prioritise effectively. 

This project and position is funded until December 2019
