Leading the newly established Data, Outcomes & Economics function, you'll play a crucial role in building our research capability, designing and implementing new data systems and delivering rigorous insights and evaluation. Alongside overseeing a central Research Team you'll supervise the work of researchers across our demonstration countries, in our country programmes and regional hubs by nurturing a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Sharing findings with a range of specialist and non-specialist audiences and in a range of formats will be a core part of your role to demonstrate the impact of our vision.

Whether your background is in international development, economics, social research or academia, you will bring an unwavering commitment to child rights and significant applied research experience. Technical expertise in designing effective data collection strategies, including developing sampling frames, survey instruments and standardised measures, is also required, along with the ability to adapt and apply rigorous scientific methods to diverse systems, contexts and populations. We are looking for advanced quant skills, including multivariable modelling and longitudinal datasets, and a capability in economic appraisal, evaluation and financial analysis. A postgraduate degree or equivalent applied training in a relevant discipline is essential.
