NEW BOARD MEMBERS AND CHAIR OF AUDIT (UNREMUNERATED)

Evolve Housing + Support is the third largest provider of accommodation for homeless people in London.  We currently work across eight London boroughs, providing supported housing services for 700 homeless people.  We own most of our stock and in 2015 completed a £29m transformation of our properties.  We are now working hard to deliver a new 50 bed development in Croydon, while growing our range of community-based services, which currently include health and wellbeing, mentoring and work and learning services.

In September 2015, we launched our new name and brand, and we will soon be developing our next 3 year Business Plan ahead of its launch next spring.  Despite a challenging external environment, we have a clear vision of a self-sustaining future, to be delivered through new fundraising and development strategies.

We are now looking for new Board Members – one of whom will take on the role of Chair of the Audit Committee – to join us at this exciting time.  Whilst these roles are voluntary positions, you will have the satisfaction of joining a dynamic, thriving organisation. We want people who share our vision and passion for serving customers and making a lasting difference to lives and communities.  We are looking to strengthen our highly skilled Board with the addition of the following skills:

  • Finance and governance
  • Property and commercial
  • Development expertise
  • Fundraising
  • Legal

For an informal discussion please contact Karen Cooper, Chair of the Board on 07932 745540 or by email: kcconsulting@btinternet.com.

The application pack, including further information on the organisation and how to apply, is available on our website.

Closing date: Friday 5 October, 5pm

Interviews: Wednesday 24th and Monday 29th October.
