About the role:

If you are looking for your first role as a learning and development professional this post is for you! You don’t need any previous experience as a trainer – they will support and develop you in this post as you learn your craft.

You will join a busy and friendly team which designs and delivers training to over 650 staff on their lovely rural site just outside Much Hadham. The organisation provides care and education to children, young people and adults with epilepsy and severe neurological conditions which makes them a very special place to work. You will be delivering training to colleagues who work in many different job roles in care and education, as well as their support functions.

About you:

Our client is looking for someone who is a natural communicator and who enjoys being at the front of a training room, engaging with colleagues and inspiring them to learn.

If you have previously worked in a care, health or a customer focussed role that would be great, but your career choices to date really do not matter to them – what they are looking for is someone who will love working here and working with their fabulous staff.

After 16 months or so in the role working with an experienced trainer as you mentor you should have completed your Level 3 qualification in education and training (which will be fully funded) and proficient as a trainer at which point you would move to the qualified trainer grade with them at a salary of £18,718 pa.

No agencies please.

You may have experience of the following: Trainer, Instructor, Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Training Manager, Training Consultant, Education, Careers Advisor, L&D, Learning & Development Officer, HR Officer, HR Assistant, Junior, Graduate etc

The organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, vulnerable adults and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

They reserve the right to close the vacancy earlier in the event that we receive sufficient applications
