Senior Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced fundraising professional to join our award winning fundraising team!  As Senior Fundraising Officer, you will be specifically responsible in supporting the Development Director with major donor development, corporate partnerships, submitting trust and foundation applications as well as developing commercial opportunities such as merchandise and products.

The candidate should be a self-starter inspired and motivated by the work of IAR and be someone that will significantly develop the Charity’s fundraising activities and increase its income, taking these important funding streams to the next level. International Animal Rescue (IAR) is a dynamic fast growing charity based in Uckfield, East Sussex, committed to animal welfare and conservation. At IAR we do exactly what our name says: we save animals from suffering around the world and tackle the causes of their misery. We cut free dancing bears in India, rescue orangutans in Indonesia, save howler monkeys in Costa Rica and release bear from cages in Armenia - and so much more. Whenever we can, we release rescued animals back into the wild; and when that's not possible, we give them a safe haven for life.
