Job Details

You will be joining at an exciting time for this national body within the Arts and Heritage sector that collaborates and extends its reach worldwide.

Description

  • Executing the content strategy and content guidelines including the content marketing model, tone of voice and the channel strategy
  • Create and deliver editorial projects across the consumer and business markets e.g. news / PR stories, events copy, relevant content - focusing on customer journeys and data insights to deliver agreed KPIs
  • Champion the data led content marketing model of setting clear KPIs, creating and distributing content relevant for priority segmented audiences and ensuring all content is fully optimised
  • Create and edit high quality content that drives high volumes of traffic across multiple high priority projects that offer unique value to customers that is search engine optimised
  • Manage small project teams as the QA expert and brand editorial champion
  • Work collaboratively with the content & digital team and stakeholders across the business to identify conversion rate improvements and ensure editorial quality assurance standards are maintained
  • Ensure all content published on the site by the editorial team is search engine optimised
  • Work with the product and content teams to create new innovative page designs that improve user experience and have a positive impact on the website's engagement metrics
  • Represent the organisation at internal and external editorial meetings
  • Line management of 1 member of staff

Profile

Essential

  • Proven experience as a brand editorial champion and creating customer centric content ranging from news / PR stories on a daily / weekly basis to events and evergreen content for the consumer and business markets
  • Proven experience in content creation, curation, commissioning and co-creation
  • Management experience in TOV implementation across consumer and business sectors
  • Experience of delivering a range of editorial projects, such as, relevant content, SEO content optimisation, campaigns, Business Events
  • Experience of managing and mentoring of editorial talent
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering innovative, customer centric content
  • Experience of working with SEO teams and agencies to deliver data driven consumer and business content that delivers impact and knowledge of conversion rate content optimization, reporting, test & learn activity
  • Experience of stakeholder management in a complex and political environment
  • Excellent communicator, used to managing expectations and influencing stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong project (Agile) and time management skills with ability to multi-task, whilst working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • An advanced Excel user and proficient in Google Analytics

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • A second language
  • DSDM / Scrum methodology experience

Job Offer

A salary of between £30,000 and £32,000 depending on experience.
