Our client is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.

They are looking for a motivated and efficient person to manage a supported living project for 10 adults, as well as a growing outreach service. Both services provide support to adults with mild-moderate learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including mental health and complex health needs.

The role will include coordinating and providing excellent person centred care and support of service users, to enable tenants to live independently in their own home and be supported in all areas of day-to-day living. You will also oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to people with learning disabilities.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of Support Workers as well as ensuring that the service meets legislative and organisational standards.

They are looking for people who will instill a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with service users, their families and advocates. The right candidate will also be able to demonstrate a track record in motivating, managing and developing staff, alongside a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs, as well as offering positive behaviour support would also be an advantage.

They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality, has a positive attitude to managing a varied workload, a willingness to learn and develop new skills, and the ability to work positively as part of a team.

Our client is dedicated to staff development and supervision and they will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support.
