Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our IT team and play a significant role in supporting key programmes and projects being delivered.
The BHF (British Heart Foundation) are undertaking a period of sizeable change, with key programmes and projects being delivered. These include the implementation of a new HR system, a Smarter Working project to overhaul our working practices, a rollout of Office365 as well as important regulatory programmes of work such as GDPR.
You'll support a change portfolio within IT, coordinating project activities. This will include managing schedules, arrange assignments and working closing with the wider team of Project Managers and communicating progress to all team members.
You'll take the lead on preparing action and tracking plans, updating and ensuring project documentation is up to date.
About you
You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of working in programme or project support and have a key understanding of project delivery approaches and concepts. With experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management you'll have the ability to develop strong working relationships with the team and wider stakeholders involved in key projects and programmes.
With hands-on experience with document and schedule management you'll have a positive 'can-do' attitude and flexible approach. This will be backed up with exceptional organisational skills. With high-quality programme and project support skills you'll ideally have PRINCE2 Foundation training or be degree qualified in a relevant subject or have relevant experience in a large, national organisation setting, however this is not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career in project and programme support in a PMO setting.
