Student Services Officer
Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Student Services Officer, to provide key administrative support in a student facing environment.
The purpose of the Student Services Officer role is to work within a team to contribute to, and deliver, an excellent, customer-focused, frontline support service to students, in addition to internal/external stakeholders. The post holder will be part of our exciting and continually evolving Student Services team, which is the face of enquiry management for the university. This is an opportunity to join our team at a time when we are continuing to expand and develop the wide range of services we provide to students. The purpose of this role is to assist general administration including maintaining the database and ensuring all files and records are up to date. The post holder will act as first point of contact for all student queries by phone, face-to-face and email and manage the attendance monitoring process including maintaining the attendance database. You will be required to provide consistently high levels of customer service to all students and respond efficiently to all enquiries.
In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous experience in a similar student support position within the higher education industry along with excellent customer service skills and IT and communication skills. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
