The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is the leading user-led charity supporting people living with or affected by spinal cord injury.  We passionately believe that people with a spinal cord injury should receive the specialist treatment, rehabilitation, care and support needed from the moment of injury or diagnosis and throughout their lives to become independent, empowered individuals leading fulfilled lives.

Location: Milton Keynes - some travel is required

With a proud record of providing support and campaigning, our next Chief Executive Officer will have the ability to translate strategy into action to ensure our members are supported through ever-challenging times. You will lead the work of the organisation and take us through the next exciting phase of our development, playing a critical role in strengthening our core business and developing new services: ensuring we are and remain a cutting-edge, dynamic charity.

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer who is an inspiring and empowering leader with the energy, commitment and innovative thinking needed for this role. You will be a powerful communicator with a proven ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and will have the commercial and financial acumen to ensure the organisation’s sustainability. You will ensure business growth continues, expanding our membership and developing relationships that will create new funding pipelines to broaden our base of funders and supporters.

Your background is as a Chief Executive Officer or Senior Manager/Director, bringing with you outstanding relationship building, communication and influencing skills, along with business flair and an intuitive grasp of what is needed to take SIA forward. As Chief Executive Officer you will demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, leading by personal example. We need you to share our passion that spinal cord injured people can, with the right support, achieve their aspirations. If you have the requisite experience, skills and knowledge to meet that challenge, then we want to hear from you.
