  • Develop, manage and provide leadership of the student acquisition, progression and retention strategies for the organisation globally
  • Work with partner relations team to provide input into the development of the global learning partner strategy
  • Work closely with local market teams for the execution of strategies to ensure a cohesive and market responsive approach
  • Ongoing development of new platforms and services to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the student value proposition
  • Manage the planning and execution of acquisition, progression and retention campaigns, programmes and initiatives
  • Ensure organisational objectives are met across customer acquisition, pipeline management, retention, commercial revenue and membership growth
  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels across a matrix structure to ensure successful delivery of marketing strategies
  • Develop and implement a global marketing ROI and attribution model to ensure accurate reporting on marketing campaign performance, ROI and customer lifetime value metrics
  • Manage the marketing budget for the team
  • Contribute to customer experience projects, programs and initiatives as and when required
  • Lead a team of three direct reports and manage performance, providing mentoring and professional development opportunities



  • Proven experience working across the full marketing mix in a global environment, particularly digital
  • Experience developing marketing strategies to support organisational objectives
  • Demonstrable experience with integrated marketing activities across multiple channels and markets with an understanding of how insight and technology come together to deliver customer experience
  • Sound understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our various audiences (digital marketing, new technology, Marketing Automation, CRM, agile working practices, data and analytical tools)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders
  • Experience in owning and managing multiple projects, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively as well as working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight, knowledge and analysis into long term plans and translate ideas into action
  • Experience leading a team and ensuring business objectives are met
  • Budget management and performance reporting


  • Experience in education, membership or commercial sectors
  • Degree educated in Marketing/Business discipline or similar
  • CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, MBA or similar

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £58,000 and £63,000 depending on experience.
