Charity Director (with income generation)

Winnicott Foundation

£45,000 - £50,000

Paddington, London

Full-time, permanent

The Winnicott Foundation raises funds to improve care for premature and sick babies through supporting the neonatal units at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital, Hammersmith. We work with staff and parents to meet the long-term and day-to-day needs of babies, families and neonatal units.

The charity has already nearly doubled its income so you will be joining at a pivotal time in its journey as it seeks to grow income and the team, over the next few years.

We are looking for a senior fundraising professional with a track record of securing significant income from at least two areas of fundraising as there are lots of opportunities for major donor, events, trusts and foundations, legacies, community, and corporate fundraising.

This role would suit a self-starter who can not only devise and implement fundraising strategies while also enjoys the idea of running the day to day operational activities – with the full backing of trustee board.

In short, this will be a great platform for a dynamic manager to who likes to be creative, develop and deliver fundraising initiatives and relationships and ultimately to see the impact of their work.
