Job Title: Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser

Hours:  Full time/ permanent

Salary:  £40,000 - £45,000

Location:  Thatcham, Berkshire

We are working in partnership with Prior's Court Foundation, an independent specialist school supporting children and young people on the autism spectrum who have moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs.  The school has a world-wide reputation for their dedication to bringing the highest level of expertise to support and improve life chances for people with autism. Currently its services include a school for young people from 5-19 with autism and complex needs, a supportive living and learning provision for young adults with autism up to 25 years, and a training centre offering specialist autism courses and conferences to the wider community.

Prior’s Court Foundation is seeking to appoint a new Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser. With significant relevant experience of working in Trusts and Foundations, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Evidence of successful applications to trusts and grant making bodies
• The ability to write compelling proposals with excellent research skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop strong relationships
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve fundraising targets

We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal presentation skills. You will be flexible, driven and have excellent knowledge of effective fundraising practice.
