An educational charity are looking for a Programmes Manager to oversee the management of all STEM based programmes across the charity.

This a part time role 3 or 4 days per week and is based in Guildford.

Key Responsibilities:
-Be responsible for the management of all STEM based programmes across the organisation, through reference to, the current strategy to include regular meetings with CEO and colleagues
-Working with the CEO to develop and implement the strategy and business plan for the programmes which can guide the growth, evolution and development of the programmes
-Responsible for providing content for marketing and communication activity required to support and promote programmes to;STEM companies/organisations who will support the programmes financially and/or via volunteers, Charitable funders who will support the programme financially and end users such as schools, colleges etc.
-To work closely with the Fundraising team to provide input to funding bids and applications, to develop positive and successful working relationships with funders and develop stewardship plans, taking the relationship lead for major funders and to produce informative year end programme related outcome reports
-To be the 'public face' of the programmes.
-To seek and develop opportunities to cross sell programmes to existing users and to broaden the client base
-Provide direction to admin and event support staff to ensure that the Mobile Classrooms and all other STEM programmes have the resources (human, material and financial) to operate as effectively as possible
-To be ultimately responsible for the content and approval of the programme related staff briefing and related documentation.
-Provide leadership and line management to the Programme Tutors
-Responsible for the ongoing financial management of the programmes
-To develop excellent working relationships with any subcontracted staff or delivery partners, ensuring consistent delivery across all programmes. To support the Fundraising Team in the ongoing management of client relationships and identification of possible new funders.
-To actively seek out new partners and contributors in STEM related education and industries, who could support the development and delivery of current and new programmes.

Skills and Experience required:
-Experience of working as a Project Manager/Programme Manager
-Experience of office based work for a Charity/Social Enterprise managing and overseeing programmes
-Experience of managing project related budgets
-Strong management skills
-Ideally experience of managing educational programmes
-Driving licence with access to a car
