I am working on behalf an international animal welfare charity who have a exciting new vacancy in their team......

The Senior Major Donor Fundraiser is responsible for the development and implementation of the organisations philanthropy strategy to secure high value funding from multiple target audiences; High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts & Foundations, and Corporate supporters.

Salary 35,000
2 year FTC

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of the philanthropy strategy

Grow, diversify and future-proof philanthropic income streams.

Draft, reforecast and manage philanthropic income and expenditure budgets (1, 3 and 5 year).

Report on financial and non-financial targets against agreed key performance indicators, producing monthly progress summaries for the Head of Fundraising and other senior colleagues.

To keep up to date with key trends and all regulatory obligations in regard to target audiences.

Identify, research and develop compelling funding applications and cases for support. Manage, deliver and optimise Four Paws' flag ship product for High Net Worth Individuals; Priority Projects.

Collaborate with national and international colleagues as to enhance the standing of philanthropy at Four Paws, and actively seek out new opportunities for growth.

Identify, research and approach new key prospects across all target audiences.

Devise and implement individual cultivation plans that develop mutually beneficial and rewarding relationships with supporters, using Raiser's Edge as the primary relationship management tool.

Provide a sector leading supporter experience and in doing so maximise the life-time value of philanthropic audiences.

Secure, plan and attend face-to-face meetings, presenting and making financial asks as required.

Essential Criteria:

Proven experience in Philanthropy across High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts and/or Corporate fundraising.

Experience of devising, executing and following up on major donor events.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Expert knowledge of using CRM databases to drive forward philanthropic relationships, ideally Raiser's Edge.

Team player, who equally embraces collaboration and independent working.

A passion and interest in animal welfare.

Experience of working virtually with international colleagues.
