Job Title: Executive Director of Engagement and Income Generation

Hours:  Full time/ permanent (37.5 hours)

Salary:  Circa £50k plus relocation

Location: Bransby, Lincoln

We are working in partnership with Bransby Horses an equine rescue and welfare charity whose main objectives are to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, to protect them from unnecessary suffering and to promote knowledge of their care.  Bransby Horses is set in the beautiful hamlet of Bransby, just north of Lincoln.  The charity is set in approx.600 acres of countryside providing a stunning rural setting.

The charity is now seeking to appoint an Executive Director of Engagement and Income Generation to lead and guide the charity on all aspects of income generation, so as to ensure its future growth and ability to meet its objectives.  You will be responsible for all areas of the charity which nurture relationships with and engages with the charity’s extremely passionate, loyal and diverse supporters.  The team includes the Visitor Centre, Marketing, Supporter Services and Fundraising teams, comprising a team of approximately 40 people.

We are seeking a passionate, experienced and strategic Director with a commitment to animal welfare who demonstrates:

  • Significant practical experience of fundraising and income generation
  • A minimum of 3-5 years working at management level in a small to medium sized organisation
  • Ability to create relevant long term strategic plans for the charity to ensure future income growth
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience of leading diverse teams
  • Ability to represent and promote the charity positively at all times.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to lead and inspire teams, to successfully engage with the public and a wide range of stakeholders. As a Director and member of the Executive Leadership team, you will work collaboratively with other areas of the charity to ensure the charity is maximising income generating opportunities wherever possible.
