Our client is a national charity that’s been supporting people with learning disabilities since 1962. They put the people they support at the centre of everything they do and use their experience to work in partnership with them to provide personalised services to more than 2,500 people. 

Position: Waking Night Support Worker 
Location: Ingol, North Preston, Lancashire 
Job Type: Full Time and Part Time, Permanent 
Salary: £9.00 per hour

About the Role: 

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will enable the people they support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs. Waking Night Workers are required to remain awake throughout the night to support individuals with personal support needs as required. 

About You: 

Having the right values, confidence and attitudes is more important than experience. Key qualities will be a natural resilience to challenges, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies, self-motivation and most importantly the ability to be passionate about promoting independence and active lifestyles. 

For these roles you will be part of a new team who will have a specially designed induction and bespoke package of additional training as well as a dedicated manager who will coach you along the way. They also support and encourage their employees to develop their careers through NVQ courses.
