They are currently going through a large period of growth and have vacancies for Support Worker 37.5 hours on Permanent basis.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Exmouth, Exeter & East Devon
Job type: Full Time, Permament
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (some shifts as per service requirements)
Salary: £18,389 to £20,502 per annum dependant on experience Additional Payments: £74.39 per night for sleep in and £13.39 on call (please note this role requires 2 sleep ins per week which equates to an additional £6,817 approximately per annum)
Benefits: 26 days’ annual holiday rising a day a year for the first 5 years + bank holidays, Life Assurance, Pension scheme and an Employee Health Assistance Programme. Professional development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within their Mental Health Services in Exeter & East Devon for a Mental Health Support Worker. This role will predominantly be based in Exmouth, however, you will, on occasion, assist with providing cover across all their services.
You will effectively manage an assigned caseload of clients; contingent on needs, strengths, abilities and preferences of the clients of the service. You will also provide assessment, monitoring, support planning, linkage and advocacy for clients involved in the service.
About you:
Candidates will need a patient and calm professional manner and a fair and non-discriminatory, non-judgemental approach. You will have proven experience of working with clients with mental health difficulties and who are difficult to engage is essential, as are good I.C.T., administration and communication skills.
Additionally, the ability to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts will be required, as is the ability to travel effectively within the geographical location of East Devon.
You may have experience of the following: Support Worker, Care Worker Care Assistant, Healthcare Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Mental Health Support Worker, Care Home, CQC Regulations, etc.
