Event Officer

If you are wanting to work on the most innovative challenge event of the year that will help springboard your career in charity events then this is the role for you.

I introduced the last person into this role who has absolutely loved it! Due to the success of the event the team is expanding and has created a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for creating excellent stewardship levels of the charity's 2000 participants making sure they fundraise as much as possible.
• In relation to the above you will be responsible for recruiting volunteers to help call and support the participants (TPP consultants have volunteered doing this)
• Market and promote the events though a range of channels.
• Support the event manager with wider managing of the event and pre/post events.

Of course they are not expecting you have to managed such large participant numbers but would like someone who has worked in a busy challenge events team and who understand how they can up scale up their role.
