This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and implement an ambitious, forward-looking individual giving strategy which aims to increase individual income by 25% and to double our supporter base over the next five years. The Head of Individual Giving is responsible for bringing in over £9 million of income annually, largely from WWT membership, as well as legacies, other regular giving products and one off appeals.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Circa £40k

The role provides leadership and support to the individual giving team, empowering them to provide the highest standards of cultivation and stewardship for individual supporters and deliver against agreed targets, as well as providing guidance across WWT’s ten UK wetland sites to support membership recruitment and retention targets.

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic professional with strategic management experience within the charity sector, and a strong track record of consistently achieving seven figure fundraising targets from regular giving products. With a strong knowledge of direct marketing, they will understand how to use supporter insight to inform and shape marketing communication plans that will balance maximising income with ensuring supporters are receiving the best experience. Excellent at building internal relationships, they will have experience of collaborating across a complex organisation and ideally across multiple sites, to achieve shared targets. Experience of managing teams and budgets is essential.
