The Trusts and Foundations Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a sustainable strategy to raise funds from trusts and foundations to support the year round work of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable fundraising strategy for trusts and foundations
• Work creatively and collaboratively with other members of the MIF team, including producers and creative engagement team, to identify and develop potential projects and areas of activity for funding
• Maintain and develop existing and new relationships with trusts and foundations
• Research, develop, write and deliver bids and pitches to trusts and foundations
• Be the organisational expert on trusts and foundations, actively researching news, developments, initiatives and trends within the area, and managing an up to date register of the various funds
• Establish and manage appropriate systems and processes to enable a consistent and coordinated approach to trusts and foundations throughout the organisation
• Establish and manage appropriate systems to monitor, evaluate and report on projects funded by trusts and foundations, in accordance to timescales agreed with the individual funder

• Support the wider work of the development team, in line with strategic organisational objectives.
