Our client, a medical school based in South London, is looking to recruit a temporary Digital Content Producer to drive the use of digital channels to share the story of the school with their diverse audiences, including prospective and current students and staff, collaborators and research funders.

You will plan and create compelling digital content - including written, graphics and video - that showcases the impact of their education and research in medicine, healthcare and science. As an expert in digital media, you will harness the power of these tools to promote the university widely.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the social media channels and be involved in delivering content projects based on user needs, using analytics to inform decisions. You will also work with social media content contributions from colleagues to ensure that they are on brand and targeted appropriately.

You will be working with staff across the university to ensure that information on the website is accurate, up to date and appropriate for audiences. This will involve editing copy and advising on user needs. The role demands excellent communication, creative, relationship building, planning and organisational skills. In addition, you will be highly skilled at proofreading and have experience in developing videos and graphics for social media. Ideally, you will have experience of working for a similar organisation and have experience of maintaining a large, user-centred website and social media channels for a complex organisation.
