Job Details
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading disability charity as a Community Fundraising Officer working from home. The charity delivers disability services, community projects, education and training resources that promote inclusion and wellbeing. This is an exciting time for the charity which is investing substantially in the fundraising team and aspires to increase voluntary income by 50% over the next four years.
The Role
As Community Fundraising Officer, you will lead on various fundraising projects across the region to fund a range of diverse services. From this, you will engage with volunteers, groups and corporates along with events to raise the profile of the charity. You will also aim to target new supporters which could include churches and student RAGs.
Person Specification
You will be a great relationship builder with a natural ability to build rapport to enthuse people with the charity. You will have experience of organising and planning local events. You will have a sound understanding of community fundraising, volunteer management and corporate fundraising. Finally, you will have access to your own car with a full driver's license.
Benefits
You will receive a salary of £26,000 to £29,000, 25 days annual leave, training and development opportunities with the IoF and employee assistance programme . You will also work from home and receive travel expenses.
