A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Community Fundraiser for a national charity in order support the Community Fundraising Manager to strategically plan, cost and safely deliver areas of the community programme for mass participation within agreed budgets and income targets. This will be a temporary role untill 1st of February 2019.



Key Responsibilities will include:

Developing and delivering an innovative programme of engagement for schools and work on developing and delivering a bespoke community product to engage local communities promoting the charity s work
Plan launch an activity for the charity s community fundraising work
Setting and communicating timelines and priorities on each project and delivering in a timely manner and within budget
Work with Event and Community colleagues, and those in Communications, Direct Marketing, Supporter Operations and Major Gifts to share activity, opportunities and relationships across the organisations within Charity s Partners.
Assist with the management of workload across the Events & Community Fundraising Team and undertake any other duties as directed by the Senior Community Fundraising Manager and/or Head of Events & Community Fundraising.
Work with the Community Fundraising Coordinator, Event Coordinators and Community and Events Assistant to ensure all supporters receive the highest standard of care and stewardship through all touch points and are stewarded in a consistent and cost-effective manner and encouraged to extend their support when appropriate.
To proactively identify high value fundraisers and influencers; and to manage and develop these relationships effectively with the team
Identify and cultivate relationships with key supporters, stakeholders colleagues and suppliers and their networks in order to maximise value from their event, activity and contacts.
Develop and carry out marketing and supporter care plans that are inspiring and creative.
Work closely with our supporter operations and data team to make sure our stewarding processes, fundraising platforms and our database (Raiser s Edge) are used as efficiently as possible.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Knowledge of event/project management and of Community Fundraising products
Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload and work on several different projects at once; ability and willingness to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
Excellent written, verbal and presentational skills with the ability to communicate detailed information to a wide audience
Experience of managing and delivering a broad variety of marketing and event, and fundraising campaign activities from conception to completion, and of measuring and analysing results to ensure continuous improvement
Experience of managing a range of agencies and suppliers including digital, creative, media, data and print.
Experience of building strong working relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
Excellent IT skills including using Excel, Word, and Outlook; and experience of administering and maintaining dedicated supporter CMS databases
Ability to project an organisation positively, clearly and effectively in all communications, written and spoken
