Salary: up to £43,000

Our client is an international children’s charity which is working towards a day where every child can grow up in a loving family.  They know that they will only achieve this by working with others. Through partnership working with national governments, civil society organisations, international agencies, corporate donors and committed individuals, the organisation is helping to build a global movement that will eradicate orphanages in our lifetime.

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be a key member of the highly successful Major Partnerships team, being at the heart of the organisation’s ambition and understanding their overseas programmes.  Your main responsibilities will be to identify, secure and manage new corporate partnership opportunities and to prepare and implement compelling and tailored proposals.  Through networking, both internally and externally, you will work with the team to develop a fundraising pipeline to secure new introductions, thereby maximising income and future goodwill. 

The successful individual will demonstrate:

  • Entrepreneurial flair together with strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent experience of pitching for business or case for support presentation skills
  • Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills including the ability and confidence to network, persuade and negotiate effectively
  • A successful track record of identifying and securing corporate supporters and corporate account management
  • Ability to deputise for the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager
  • Resilience, tenacity and energy to maximise new opportunities
  • The qualities of a self-starter whilst working as part of a committed team

This role includes a requirement for a willingness to travel within the UK and occasional international travel accompanying major funding partners.  The role is based in London for a minimum of 3 days per week and flexibility is offered for the remaining one/two days of the week.
